One can acquire samadhi, a profound state of focus and increased awareness, by frequently practising meditation. It is an overall state of happiness and dissociation from any hedonistic goals. Another way to put it is as a way of being in which the practitioner is totally focused on the present and absolutely unaware of everything else. It is believed to be the ultimate objective of meditation. It could be good to employ motivating language to reach Samadhi. They might act as a constant reminder of our goals, inspiring us to keep pursuing them. "Mediation is the route to serenity, and tranquilly is the path to Samadhi," is one of my favourite quotations. The benefits of meditation are emphasised in this line.
