Alan Tudyk was born on 16th March 1971, and he is an American actor . His film credits include 28 Days in 2000, the medieval adventure A Knight's Tale in 2001, the comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story in 2004, and motion capture work for Sonny in I, Robot in 2004. He also appeared in 3:10 to Yuma in 2007 and starred in the black comedy horror film Tucker & Dale vs. Evil in 2010. Additional appearances include Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 2011, the biographical film 42 in 2013, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials in 2015, and the historical drama Trumbo in 2015. Since 2012, he has lent his voice to characters in every Walt Disney Animation Studios film . On television, Tudyk is widely recognized for playing Wash in the space Western Firefly from 2002 to 2003. Despite its short run, the show developed a cult following . Tudyk returned to this role in the 2005 continuation film Serenity, which expanded upon the series . Tudyk has also starred in the English black comedy Death at a Funeral in 2007, the sitcom Arrested Development in 2005, 2013, and 2019, the sci-fi thriller Dollhouse from 2009 to 2010. He has voiced Green Arrow in Young Justice from 2010 to 2013 and in 2019, along with numerous voices on American Dad! since 2011. Tudyk also starred in playing Dr. Noah Werner in Suburgatory from 2011 to 2014, the satirical series Newsreaders from 2014 to 2015, and providing voices for Star vs. the Forces of Evil from 2015 to 2019. Tudyk voiced Dangerboat in the series The Tick from 2017 to 2019, portrayed K-2SO in Rogue One , and played Eric Morden / Mr. Nobody on Doom Patrol in 2019. Tudyk has contributed to gaming by, voicing Mickey in Halo 3: ODST in 2009, returning as K-2SO in Star Wars Battlefront in 2015, and continuing as Green Arrow in multiple DC Super Hero games in 2013, 2015, and 2017. Since 2019, Tudyk has voiced The Joker and Clayface in the animated series Harley Quinn. Tudyk plays the lead role of Dr. Harry Vanderspeigle in the sci-fi comedy Resident Alien and voices Optimus Prime in Transformers: EarthSpark .
